Doha 2020, the organisation bidding to host the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, has announced further additions to its team including Fahad Juma, Deputy CEO and Technical Director; Tariq Falamazi, Legal Director; and Fatma Al-Ghanim, Marketing and Communications Director.
In addition, Doha 2020 has confirmed that it will unveil its bid logo and slogan in Doha on February 10th at the annual community fun day event Wheels n’ Heels, which promotes physical activity and healthy lifestyles in Qatar.
The official Doha 2020 bid website will also be launched that day.
Commenting on these developments, Noora Al Mannai, CEO of Doha’s 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games bid, said today:
"We are building a talented Bid Committee and these latest appointments further strengthen our team as we head into an important phase of the 2020 campaign.
"The unveil of our bid logo and slogan and the launch of the new website are all important building blocks in our bid to host the first ever Olympic and Parlympic Games in the Middle East.
