This long term vision is like Annecy 2018’s project for the mountains of tomorrow.
Over 20 NGOs are currently working with us on the environmental aspects of thebid. As the Winter Olympics in Chamonix in 1924 set the stage for winter sports inthe 20th century, Annecy 2018 will be the example for the 21st century in terms of the
development of our mountains and the innovation of eco-resorts. We will continue tobe in advance and to find new ways of protecting the land while promoting wintersports."
