(ATR) The logo for the Prague bid for the 2016 Olympics has been modified to meet approval of the IOC.

In what should have been a look-before-leaping moment, Prague bid leaders unveiled a logo earlier this month before submitting the emblem to the IOC for approval.

Upon request by the IOC, the logo is now changed, with the stylized “2016” now placed next to “Praha” at the bottom of the design. The style is consistent with other logos approved by the IOC for 2016 applicant cities.

Madrid, which selected its winning design this week from a public competition, is now making some slight changes to the logo before being submitted to the IOC.

Logos for Baku, Doha and Rio de Janeiro have not been released. Chicago and Tokyo have received approval and are now in use.

Chicago was told to change the logo it had been using while it bid for the U.S. 2016 nomination. The former design had included the image of a torch. IOC rules prevent the cities from using Olympic symbols as part of the design.
