The arrest of Gustavo “N”, the Worm, represents one of the last major blows for the Council of United Cartels, as the alleged criminal faces the burden of 15 victims, who were killed and/or abducted in the Zamora region, Michoacán.
According to security sources consulted by Infobae Mexico, the Worm is associated with Viagras, although its crimes are identified as part of the group with other cells that formed the United Cartels to fight the territory to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
According to reports from the Michoacán Public Prosecutor's Office, this subject was arrested in operational actions coordinated with the State Secretariat of Public Security, after locating him in the town of La Estancia de Amezcua, in the municipality of Zamora.
Among the victims of the Worm were at least seven men, seven women and a minor under five years of age, according to the 10 arrest warrants he has for crimes of qualified homicide, kidnapping, drug abuse and attempted murder.
