Through her Instagram account, the former reporter of 'La Banda del Chino' indicated that she is “sorry” by the images that were broadcast on the program “Magaly TV: La Firme”, where she was seen kissing passionately with the América TV host.

“I'm very sorry about what happened. I apologize to all the people involved. There are no words to express my pain and sorrow. I never thought of living anything like that. Now, in solitude and shame, I will face the consequences. To all those who know me and have supported me, I give my heartfelt thanks,” said Retiz.

This was the only statement that the sports journalist has made after the images of her passionate encounter with Miyashiro were broadcast last Monday and after having made her social networks private to avoid hate messages.

After the broadcast of the images on Magaly Medina's program, Fiorella's contract was canceled by the management of the program where she worked as a host.

However, this decision was criticized on social networks, as many users asked that Aldo Miyashiro and Oscar del Portal also be punished by America in the same way they did at the time with Sheyla Rojas and Melissa Paredes.

Journalist Juliana Oxenford also expressed her rejection of the measure taken by the program's management that fired Fiorella Retiz.

Meanwhile, tonight, Aldo Miyashiro reappeared on his program “La banda del Chino” and his face dislodged, ashamed and regretted for his actions, he apologized to his wife Érika Villalobos, his children and his family.
