
Carlos Rivera and Olympic skater Donovan Carrillo met during one of the singer's last performances in José el Soñador, which prompted both of them to share messages of admiration and some photographs of the memory.
These weeks Carlos Rivera will perform the last performances in the play José el Soñador and his fans have come to the theater to say goodbye to this staging with him as the protagonist. Among the fans who caught the attention of the singer was Donovan Carrillo.
The young skater posted a photo with Carlos through his Instagram account. He shared that watching José the Dreamer motivated him to continue fulfilling his dreams and wrote some compliments to the protagonist's interpretation.
For his part, the interpreter of Que lo nuestro will stay our also shared the photograph in his temporary stories and sent a short message to the athlete: “Here is a super dreamer with José el Soñador. What a pride to receive you @donovandcarr”.
This is not the first time that Carillo and the singer have interacted, because in January, after the young skater's performances at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, Carlos congratulated Donovan on his performance and thanked that he used one of his songs as part of his figure skating routine.
And it is that during one of his routines on the ice as Mexico's representative in figure skating, Carrillo added to his playlist Quizás , perhaps, a song by Osvaldo Farrés, which in its most recent version was performed in collaboration by Carlos Rivera and Daniel Boaventura.
After the athlete's presentation, the performer of Te espera shared a warm congratulation to the tapatio for his performance and thanked him for giving him the honor of accompanying him with his voice through the song.

In addition to photography with Donovan, Carlos also shared that this presentation in José el Soñador was one of the last he will give, as Kalimba will take over in the second season.
Alejandro Gou, producer of the staging, announced that the last times that the Tlaxcaltec will star in this staging will be during this Easter week and then he will make a short tour of Queretaro, Guadalajara and Monterrey.
In the second season of José el Dreamador, which begins on May 20, Kalimba will be the protagonist, while Erik Rubín and Leonardo de Lozanne will alternate in the character of The Pharaoh, while Fela Domínguez will continue as narrator.
Carlos was absent from the musical theater for seven years, so for his return he had to make great sacrifices, such as facing a tough routine of exercise and diet, because again, after seven years, he had to go on stage without a shirt.
“They forced me to go out without a shirt and for that I had to get into it, I actually do a lot of exercise, but especially for this I had to get into a very tough routine of exercise, diet, everything, and I said: 'Since we are there you have to take advantage of it right now' because when you don't even have to brag”, he commented in Ventaneando.
