Magaly Medina is in the eye of the storm for going out to defend the wedding of Alfredo's daughter Barnechea, Belén, who married Spanish aristocrat Martín Cabello de los Cobos in the city of Trujillo last weekend.

Of course, some people decontextualized these pictures that they presented along the way to their foreign guests, especially because they wanted to show them the culture of the north of the country,” said the host of Magaly TV: La Firme.
The comments of the popular 'Urraca' caused indignation among her followers, who labeled her as' racist 'and even said that she came out to defend the politician's daughter since one of her dreams is to belong to Lima's high society.
“Magaly defending Barnechea's daughter's wedding calling her 'high alcurnia' and 'exposing our culture'. Oh, my God, are you going to humiliate yourself so much that they accept that sleeve of inbreds? ”, was one of the comments against the television host.
There were even some users who recalled that in the past Magaly Medina shared a lunch with Alfredo Barnechea and other politicians. At that time, the controversial journalist pointed out that they had only agreed and that there was nothing wrong with them talking.
Magaly Medina has so far not responded to the criticism and decided to go on a trip to the interior of Peru with her husband. She is located in Oxapampa, getting to know a little more about the central jungle of our country. She also posted a video in which she was surprised by an unexpected rain.
MINISTRY OF CULTURE REJECTS BARNECHEA'S DAUGHTER'S WEDDING
After the dissemination of the video in which Belén Barnechea appears walking with her husband while women are watching them on the ground as part of a particular theme, the platform Alert Racism of the Ministry of Culture spoke out and reproached the ceremony.
Without explicitly mentioning the wedding in question, the entity referred to the staging and characterization of pre-Columbian culture, slavery and cultural elements originating in Trujillo.
In this regard, the Mincul platform indicated that “it reproaches the inappropriate use of cultural diversity for commercial and/or leisure reasons, since it affects perceiving it as something exotic”.
“We call on citizens to value and promote respect for our history and cultural diversity, expressed through the country's identity, languages and cultures. Let's work together to eliminate ethnic-racial discrimination,” he said.
