The federal deputy of the Labour Party (PT), Gerardo Fernández Noroña, criticized the legislator for National Action (PAN), Margarita Zavala, for her vote against the Electricity Reform promoted by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO).

Because of the lack of support for the constitutional electric reform in the Chamber of Deputies, Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena) postponed the vote on the initiative, scheduled for this Tuesday, Sunday, April 17; therefore, through its official Twitter account, the panista declared that the blue and white bench will vote “for the future of Mexico” and against the Reformation “whenever they want and at the time they want”.

“They summoned on Sunday 17 at 10 am. I'll see you there. The Bartlett Act will not pass,” he added.

The publication caught the attention of a controversial deputy petista, who pointed out that Zavala and her husband, former President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa, are furious with the initiative because the corruption of the Spanish company dedicated to the production, distribution and marketing of energy, Iberdrola, was defeated thanks to the resolution of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN).

It should be noted that in view of the discussion of the Electricity Reform in San Lazaro, Fernández Noroña has remained active on his social network criticizing and attacking the opposition bloc.

Shortly after launching against the member of Acción Nacional, the petista indicated that “the saleros” of the opposition continue to presume their “betrayal of the homeland”, as they have announced “with fanfare” that they will vote against the initiative of President López Obrador on Resurrection Sunday. “But they will not be resurrected, politically speaking,” he sneered.

After postponing the discussion of the Electricity Reform until next Sunday, the parliamentary group of the National Action Party in the Chamber of Deputies reiterated that whatever date it is, “this (electric) reform will not be won.”

At about 11:15 a.m. on the night of April 11 and behind closed doors, the 113 deputies of the PAN recorded a message where they assured that there will be no “falltists” by Sunday and the blue and white will give the debate.

“We were called for tomorrow (April 12) to make one of the most important decisions in this country. Morena, imposing themselves unilaterally, decided to change the date, they did so because they know that this reform will not be won,” said PAN coordinator Jorge Romero.

In front of the rostrum, the panista threw himself against the cherry party for using his majority, which conforms to the Labour Party (PT) and the Green Party (PVEM), to delay the discussion of the opinion of the initiative.

“We know why they changed it, because they know that this reform will not win it, because we are the women and men of National Action fulfilling the main mandate that millions of women and men in this country gave us almost a year ago, which was to protect and defend our Constitution (...) They want it to be next Sunday, they want it to be next month, they want it to be next period, it's not going to change our position, because we want to see for the future of the country,” explained Jorge Romero.
