Fernández de Cevallos broke out against AMLO for playing baseball: “He would have disappeared”

Javier Lozano also joined the complaints against the president, whom he called “huev*n” and “insolent” for playing this sport instead of ruling the country

Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) has always shown his taste for baseball, a sport he has been playing for some years, and which he continues to do so despite having become the president of Mexico.

On different occasions, on his social networks, the president shared videos in which he is seen inside the diamond, usually batting, although on some occasions he was seen throwing the ball from the mound.

Due to this passion, on the afternoon of April 6, the Tabasqueño took advantage of an afternoon off to play five innings and make his statistics known during the match. He also appreciated that there were no injuries, so he highlighted his career produced and was observed to run from third base to climb the scoreboard of his team, after a race promoted by Salvador Cresencio Sandoval, head of the Ministry of National Defence (Sedena).

I played five innings; I hit three out of three. One touch of the ball in line, two hits, I produced a race; it drove me to score General Sandoval. Without bragging, we didn't look bad, we threw away the moth and there were no injuries,” stated the head of the federal executive in the footage he shared on social networks.

Before this publication, Diego Fernández de Cevallo broke out against AMLO for carrying out this activity instead of governing the national territory, which is sunk in violence, falling peso against the dollar, among other issues.

Another character similar to the opposition who joined these messages was former politician Javier Lozano, a strong critic of the Fourth Transformation (Q4), who uses social networks and media spaces to question what is happening at the Palacio Nacional.

From his Twitter account, the former secretary of labor called López Obrador “huev*n” and “indolente” for sharing the video in which he sees himself playing baseball. He also demanded that he “get to work” to fulfill some of the promises he made during his election campaign in 2018.

“You are a horny and indolent sovereign. We're worth tons of mother if she plays baseball or not. The country falls apart in your hands. Get to work for what you were chosen and fulfill some of your fanciful promises,” said Lozano.

The baseball match was played at the Deportivo de la Alianza de Tramviarios de México, located in the Iztapalapa mayor's office in Mexico City, a place that he has frequented before and from where he has shared different images, with the aim of promoting a message in favor of sporting activity.

This time he published the appearance of General Luis Crescencio Sandoval González, Secretary of National Defense and originally from Ensenada, Baja California, where baseball has great convening power.

Crescencio would have even contributed to the result of the team and to the account of López Obrador, after having connected a ball to produce the race scored by the head of the Federal Executive.

The emphasis he placed on injuries was because last October, again during a baseball match, he reported that he was injured, as he suffered a tear that caused him to stop running, after having connected for foul. Despite this, he continued in the game batting.

“I scored a race, I touched the ball by the first line, foul; small tear, I returned to bat, macanee and another runner,” was read on the official Twitter account of López Obrador.
