Epigmenio Ibarra, television producer close to the Fourth Transformation, responded to Carlos Loret de Mola's accusation against President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO).
Through his official Twitter account, the founder of Argos Comunicación assured that the Mexican president is not carrying out any persecution against the journalistic guild.
On the other hand, he declared that what has been done in the morning conferences has been to “exhibit” a character he called a “mercenary, professional in slander and montage”, referring to Loret de Mola.
“Make no mistake, AMLO does not pursue a journalist; it exhibits a mercenary, a professional of slander and editing...”, he wrote this Thursday, April 7.
Ibarra's words were in response to the message that the journalist shared on his Twitter account, following AMLO's statements during the morning conference.
According to the communicator, the Tabasqueño is implementing a persecution against him in the form of revenge, which, he pointed out, has been escalating day by day.
In addition, he added that it all began when the investigation, jointly with Mexicans Against Corruption and Impunity (MCCI), was published at Casa Gris, which allegedly evidenced a conflict of interest between José Ramón López Beltrán, Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) and the company Baker Hughes.
And the fact is that the previous statements responded to what Andrés Manuel López Obrador said during this Thursday's conference, where he again lashed out against Loret de Mola in order to demand that he give citizens his patrimonial declaration.
In his speech, the Mexican president ruled that the communicator has alleged millionaire assets in his name in Mexico and the United States (USA).
The head of the Federal Executive assured that, within Loret's properties, there is land in Valle de Bravo that would have been acquired from Miguel Limón Rojas, former Secretary of Education during the six-year term of Ernesto Zedillo (1994-2000).
Likewise, the Tabasqueño took the opportunity to present the bill for the acquisition of a 24 million pesos apartment, which would not only verify his possession by the communicator, but also that the deal would have been initiated with the Salinista politician, Ignacio Morales Lechuga.
He also pointed out that the property located in the Mexican magic town had an area of eight hectares. However, López Obrador rectified the information and clarified that, as it is a divided piece of land, Loret only has three and a half hectares.
Despite these attacks, the Chief Executive denied that the allegations were motivated by personal nature, but, he said, to showcase the “ill-gotten wealth” of some journalists.
In this way, Andrés Manuel insisted on his call to make the assets and income of Loret de Mola transparent, as well as anyone linked to the public.
