Almost midnight on Tuesday, April 5th. Pedro Castillo, president of Peru, announced in his message to the nation that the country will have compulsory social immobilization from 02:00 to 23:59 hours a day in particular, following the stoppage of carriers that has caused chaos, disorder, violence and even looting.
President Pedro Castillo stressed that there are demands in the country that have not been addressed for a long time, a situation that was aggravated by the Covid-19 pandemic and the conflicts on the international scene.

However, this Tuesday morning, the streets have seen a lot of disorganization, as pedestrians have waited many hours to get vehicles to take them to their workplace.
To seek an opinion on the crisis in our country, Infobae contacted the former presidential candidate and former congressman, Yonhy Lescano, who explained the causes of this problem that is being experienced in our country as a result of the carrier strike.

“A government that does not have much expertise to carry the country forward, always responds untimely, has part of the blame. He let the protests go a long way,” said the former presidential candidate, Yonhy Lescano, at first, exclusively to Infobae.
“The exit also happens so that the reduction of fuels (gasoline and oil) is fulfilled in favor of the population. Measures must also be taken to reduce the price of fertilizers that affect agriculture,” he added.

One of the things that Pedro Castillo has been failing in his government is the short duration in certain ministries positions. This leads to little work being done and there is no growth in areas that are key to the country's development such as Education, Health, Economy, to name a few ministries. “They must appoint ministers well because the authorities are changed a lot and that makes the government unstable because it does not allow the right measures to be taken,” Yonhy Lescano told the media outlet.
Finally, when asked whether the Pedro Castillo government is entirely to blame for this problem that our country is experiencing, Yonhy Lescano said the following: “If this is not overcome and things get worse, we must see a social political agreement to carry out new general elections,” he said.
