After Pedro Castillo surprised the population this April 4 declaring a curfew, Mónica Sánchez did not take long to speak out and point out that this measure would only increase uncertainty in this country.

As you recall, last Monday, around midnight, the President of the Republic of Peru gave a message to the Nation in the midst of a political crisis after several days of protests by carriers who are against the increase in the price of gasoline. Also, in Huancayo, one of the claims was the increase in prices of basic necessities, which has generated a lot of violence and even deceased people.

The president indicated that this measure has been taken in order to establish peace and social order, however, many have spoken out against it. Among them, actress Monica Sanchez.

“Without north, without leadership, with hunger, divided, without freedom. This is Peru. Confining ourselves to confinement for a few hours in Lima makes no sense, it only increases uncertainty, fuels discontent and once again highlights the inability to resolve and govern,” wrote the film and television figure

Likewise, like many users, Monica Sánchez recalled the date of the autocoup d'état of the now imprisoned Alberto Fujimori, on April 5, 1992.

“What an irony that it is an april 5th..” , wrote the actress of Al Fondo Hay Sitio and De Vuelta al Barrio.

It should be remembered that this is not the first time that the artist has shown herself against the Peruvian government. On many occasions he has expressed his disagreement with the measures taken by the president, or with what is happening at the national level.

Sánchez referred a few days ago to the stoppage of carriers. “The people are respected. It is not lied to, used, manipulated or despised according to convenience. Enough of oblivion. #ParoEnJunín”, he wrote at the time.

PEDRO CASTILLO'S

President Pedro Castillo delivered his speech this Monday, April 4, around midnight, in the midst of a political crisis after several days of protests by carriers who are against the increase in the price of gasoline.
