Executive asks taps to apply ISC rebates to fuels

In view of the serious situation in the country due to the acts of violence generated by the stoppage of carriers, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) issued a statement stating the decision to temporarily eliminate the Selective Consumption Tax (CSI) on fuels.

Thus, the Executive today invoked fuel distribution companies to transfer this exemption, which was made to diesel and 84 and 90 octane gasolines, to consumers.

The PCM noted that as a result of Supreme Decree 068-2022-EF, the cost of the following fuels in plant (Petroperú) has been reduced.

“We call on distribution companies to join efforts to transfer this exemption from ISC to prices offered to consumers,” he said on his Twitter account.

It is reported that with this measure fuels were reduced as follows at the PetroPeru plant:
