Why Ingrid Coronado moved away from television for a while

In 2018, Ingrid Coronado made a difficult decision, as she left the hosting of Venga la Alegría and left for a while from television, although she was recently invited to the reality show Todos a bailar, the presenter spent some time without being seen on screens.

On her YouTube channel, the presenter revealed what were the reasons that drove her to stop her professional career and how she lived those moments.

Ingrid Coronado faced a dilemma, on the one hand she wanted to continue participating in television programs, but on the other, she was unhappy that she could not dedicate herself to taking care of her children.

“I thought, I wanted to be with my children, obviously I have to support myself, my home but but I can't be in a place where I'm so unhappy, it can't be that bad, I'm not in a position to continue doing this job,” he explained on his YouTube channel towards 2020.

Although, at the time, Ingrid Coronado was greatly relieved to walk away from her professional life, it was not a simple determination, as she was aware that her life was “made to work on television.”

The Azteca presenter lived a season full of fears, because she felt alone, she experienced the insecurity of not receiving a salary “580 thousand thoughts came to mind because yes, I had all the terror in the world, I must tell you that if so”, she told you in her video Everything that happened before making the decision to leave the TV

After assimilating the coming and going of all these thoughts, he understood that he would not be happy either if he stuck to a routine or a job and never left his comfort zone. “It is very important that many times we don't let ourselves be carried away by the habit for sure (...) I finally decided to give it a ride, take a chance and now I'm here,” he told his YouTube followers.

In addition, he shared that the situation transformed the perception he had about his colleagues who are absent from television "when they no longer worked on television, as if sometimes I thought 'Oh poor! how sad, they don't have television anymore', I felt something like exiles from a country, as if working on television was my only possibility, as if there was no world out there,” he said.

His return to television in Todos a Bailar

In November 2021, the Venga la Alegría cameras captured the moment when the former Garibaldi walked part of the hallway on a red carpet. As the driver walked to the forum, there was a wave of applause and cheers from those present.

“Bravo!” , the drivers of Venga la Alegría said in chorus when they saw her enter the arm of Sergio Sepúlveda and Patricio Borgetti. Once Coronado stepped on the central area of the forum, everyone was surprised with some pyrotechnics that came out of the back of the armchairs lighting up the whole place.

“How are you?” Sepulveda asked him. “Very good, very tearful, really. You know, one is crybaby and since I entered... I think the mascara is already well run,” he said.

Coronado stated that she was very happy to be able to return to the television station that hosted her for just over 19 years, especially, she said she was excited to be on the Venga la Alegría forum again as the mysterious host of a mini reality show.
