Silleteros' visit to the United States is part of an initiative that aims to bring this culture around the world

We, the silleteras, want to make known to the world the strength and love we have for our tradition. We wait for them to embrace them with our flowers, our colors,” said the saddle holder Laura Atehortua.

With this brand, the city seeks to attract investment, promote exports and boost tourism.

'Medellín, everything flourishes', is the winning brand of an open competition in which 31 proposals from the best creative agencies in the city participated. It was the citizens who had the final say in choosing the brand that will represent the capital of Antioquia on the national and international stages for the next ten years.

The Mayor's Office of Medellín highlighted that the participation of the silleteros in this international event was achieved thanks to the agreement of the municipal administration with the South Miami Commissioner, Josh Liebman. Likewise, it was supported by Asocolflores and the airline Viva Air.
