Kun Agüero show in Qatar: the joke on a taxi driver, the phrase against those who whistle Messi and the football praise for Morena Beltrán

The former scorer conducted an extensive interview during the World Cup draw and brought out all his mischief.

Although he is still assimilating his retirement from professional football as a result of a heart problem, Sergio Kun Aguero is happy and enjoying his new life. The former footballer, who is one of the luxury guests for the Qatar 2022 World Cup draw, true to its style, amused everyone in an interview with ESPN as he told details of his relationship with Lionel Messi and explained what his role will be in the World Cup.

“If someone pokes him, I'm going to say 'shut your mouth, you go'. What nutters are you? Go and play,” said the man who emerged from the quarry of Independiente, without hairs on his tongue. Both have known each other since childhood, where they formed a strong bond that still lasts over time. With the albiceleste jersey together they won the Netherlands Under 20 World Cup in 2005, a gold medal at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and the Copa America in Brazil 2021.

According to his opinion, the present of the Flea in the National Team mutated considerably: “I always talk to him about other things, I ask him how he is doing. He is happy with the National Team, because like everyone else, that title we were waiting for, but above all he, gave everyone a plus of joy. Especially him, who took that weight out of so many years of wanting to win a title with the National Team. It shows on the court, in the people, who enjoy much more. That gives you an extra plus.”

“I saw that there were comments from people and journalists, and we were assholes... It was difficult. And believe it or not, it bothers. When you play, you feel that pressure that they are talking about you bad things. But then we were learning to live with it, which was not the usual thing. Elsewhere, with players like him, it didn't happen. But the Argentinian wants to win all the time, he wants more; and sometimes, you can't do everything. We get along well with him. We have fought, silly fights, but we shat with laughter,” Aguero recalled when talking about when they were in the focus of criticism.

With one of his typical outings, the historic Manchester City scorer compared his bond with Messi to that of a couple: “We get along, because it's like couples, because one is quiet and the other is crazy. I was the crazy one. If we are both the same, tell him that we are quiet, we are both stupid looking at us and what do we say. We became friends, we complemented each other well. We also fought, but I didn't get angry.”

In another part of the interview, the former Independiente was also aware of everything that happens in the media and praised journalist Morena Beltrán for her football level: “You play well, they told me. You play well... I don't know, I didn't see you, but they told me.” “What pressure. I stole there with a good pass that I put in, but nothing else,” the chronicler replied, recalling her performance in the television match with her program partners.

Always with its characteristic humor, the Kun also warned albicelestial fans to be careful when it comes to getting into a taxi in Qatar because of its reckless way of driving. “How is he going to honk like that? Who honks in a hotel? Mom! Be careful those who come here. One of the taxi drivers grabbed me and I said, 'skinny, you are like a Hamilton. He told me he didn't know Hamilton. What are you, Vettel? I don't want to crash,” he laughed as a vehicle interrupted the note.

The man with a past in Atlético Madrid and Barcelona in Spain also clarified that he declined the offer to be part of Argentina's official delegation to the World Cup, although he stressed that he will be present at the highest football competition on the planet. “The invitation is there, but I already spoke. I talked to Chiqui (Tapia) and I was clear. My idea is to enjoy and I will come to Qatar as a fan. I have a very good relationship with everyone, but I don't see myself being with the coaching staff or with the boys on a day-to-day basis. I get along very well with my teammates and I want to continue that way. It's a different role that they ask of me and I think I'm not there for that,” he outlined.

“I'm enjoying it. I don't watch a lot of games, though. But I'm enjoying it, I really am. Since I was 5 years old when I started with the ball, my life was very complicated in that regard. Since I started I didn't stop, I quickly climbed the categories. I left my family very quickly, it was all at once. And now I live another reality, which I couldn't do before. I can travel no matter if I have to rest for training or what to eat. I'm more liberated and I'm enjoying it. After what happened to me, I enjoy it in a different way,” he commented on his new life.
