After a list of public figures who were fined for breaking the electoral ban during the 2021 elections was released, the Mexican interpreter Bárbara de Regil shared that she has not been notified of any sanctions against them, but that if she received it in the coming days she would have no problem paying the money indicated by the Electoral Tribunal of the Federation Judiciary (TPJF).
It was during a media meeting recovered by the show program, Ventaneando, where the protagonist of Rosario Tijeras, delved into the consequences that allowed her to publicly support the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM), following the financial fine filed by the TPJF.
“Yes, I was on the list [...] Look, I gave my opinion, if I had to pay it, I would do it because when someone has a mistake they have to do what the authority says, then if they would require it, of course I would,” argued the Mexican influencer.
Later, the 34-year-old historian recalled that, for the time being, the financial fine filed by the Mexican authority does not reach her home and confirmed that the person who is advising her on this issue is her partner and also litigator, Fernando Schoenwald.
“No, not really. Fer is a lawyer, so he's the one who's taking care of everything. But if I had to do and pay for it, of course, I would [...] What I want is to be well in my life, I want, if I make a mistake, if I do something wrong, do things right,” he ended his intervention before the cameras of the programmed led by Pati Chapoy.
It was on March 21 that the highest autonomous body in electoral matters shared its resolution against 77 artists, drivers and influencers for having violated the electoral closure during the previous June 5 and 6 and during the 2021 interim elections, where several were held called to vote and support the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico.

The Electoral Tribunal took into account some data for the imposition of economic fines, such as the degree of damage to the legal property protected and the particular circumstances of the dissemination of the message. There, 26 people were punished according to their economic capacity, including Bárbara de Regil, who, according to the authority, would have to pay 86,850.40 pesos.
Among the figures of Mexican entertainment fined by the electoral body are: Mariana Echeverría, Gabriel Soto, Karime Pindter, Lambda García, Raquel Bigorra , Regina Murguía, Raúl Araiza, among several others.
And where four foreigners stand out: Danilo Carrera (Ecuador), Michelle Vieth (United States), Pedro Prieto (Spain) and David Garrido (Venezuela), who will have to respond as required by law in accordance with the resolution granted to them by the Ministry of the Interior (SEGOB).

One of the performers who recently spoke about this controversy was the actor and host of the morning Hoy, Raúl Araiza, who, like his namesake by profession, Barbara de Regil, indicated that the fine by the TEPJF had not yet arrived. However, he stressed that for several years he had already shared some militancy for the PVEM.
“I have been calm for 13 years, that is, I have been part of and militant of, I speak for myself [...] No, in my case nothing has come to me, normal,” said the fellow Member Driver who will have to pay a fine of 21 thousand 830 pesos.
