A man who killed three women in Toluca was sentenced to 62 years in prison for the femicide of one of them, in addition to receiving the ordinance to pay 1,267,350 pesos to the victim's relatives as part of reparation for the damage.
The sentence was handed down by the judge of the Judicial District of Tenango del Valle, where Andrés Filomeno Mendoza Cellis, a serial feminicide from Atizapán, is also located. The magistrate handed down the conviction against Oscar García Guzmán for the femicide of a victim identified as Jessica.
In total, the femicide accrues a sentence of 92 years in prison for three convictions against him, since the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Specialized Prosecutor for Femicide accredited the accused's participation in the murder of the 23-year-old woman.
According to information presented by the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM), Óscar García Guzmán murdered his victim on October 27, 2019 at a home located in the Villa Santín neighborhood of Toluca, where Mexican authorities found the remains of two other victims of the subject.

After finding the lifeless bodies of the three women, the Mexican prosecutor's office initiated the investigation folder corresponding to the femicides of the victims, investigations that resulted in the involvement of the sentenced person, who was at large for months before being arrested.
“Operations were carried out in various areas of the State of Mexico and in the same way, mobilizations were carried out in Mexico City, in which the capital authorities were supported. In addition, FGJEM offered a reward of up to 300 thousand pesos for their location and detention,” the agency reported.
The man was previously sentenced to 12 years in prison for the crime of rape, in addition to obtaining a 17-year sentence for the disappearance of another of his victims; sentences that are in addition to those of 62 years for femicide, and that in addition, he still needs to be punished for the femicide of his other two victims.
On March 25, the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico completed a second arrest warrant against Andrés Filomeno Mendoza Celis, identified as a serial feminicide from Atizapán, to face trial by one of the victims buried in his home.

According to the official report, Mendoza Celis, the Chino, will now face accusations for depriving Rubicela Gallegos of her life on July 20, 2019. Although he is already serving a life sentence, the proceedings have not been completed to identify and punish him for 19 murders.
Mexican agents notified the injunction in detention, following the events recorded in the municipality of Atizapán de Zaragoza. He was approached in the Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center of Tenango del Valle, where he remains locked up.
The victim and Andrés “N” were in a building located in the Lomas de San Miguel neighborhood, in Atizapán de Zaragoza, where at some point this subject would have deprived her of life and buried her body in the kitchen of that house
The woman who was around 32 years old is one of six victims identified by DNA tests after the discovery of more than 4,300 skeletal remains in the home of the femicide, on Calle Margaritas Manzana 37 in the Lomas de San Miguel neighborhood.
