Unemployment withdrawals fell 8.3%: how to do the procedure in 9 steps from your cell phone

This year, statistics on unemployment withdrawals in Mexico have declined during the first few months, totaling 1,563 million pesos in January alone, marking a 10.9% annual drop.

While in February 1,546 million pesos were reported, which represented a fall of 8.3%, according to data compared to the previous year with the current 2022.

According to the National Commission of the Savings System for Retirement (Consar), the monthly total also reported a decline of at least 1.1%. In total, the number of people who used its resources was about 138 thousand 245 people.

In January, the results by type of Afore were as follows: Afore Coppel marked an outflow of resources of 336 million pesos; Azteca, 304 million pesos; XXI Banorte, 246.1 million pesos; Citibanamex, 214.1 million pesos; Sura; 142 million pesos; Profuturo, 116.2 million pesos; Invercap; 87.9 million pesos; pesos; Principal, 74.9 million pesos; Inbursa, 38.8 million pesos; and PensionissSTE, 2.7 million pesos.

While in February they were like this: Coppel reported an outflow of resources of 346.9 million pesos; Azteca, 272.4 million pesos; XXI Banorte, 222.7 million pesos; while Citibanamex, 219.3 million pesos.

It will be important to detail that, any person who wants to carry out this movement must have their file in advance and if they do not have it, then they will have to go to their corresponding Afore to carry it out before carrying out the procedure via AforeMobile.

What are the requirements?

-You must have two years of contributions and at least three years with an open account.

-The withdrawal request is a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 90 days of your base contribution salary.

-You will also need to apply for a certification account for the unemployed worker of the IMSS (it is granted from the 46th day of unemployment).

-To access the resources will have to be every 5 years and it is recommended to return or pay the money you asked for so as not to affect your future life, that is, by converting it into a pension.

How do I know if I have Afore?

According to Amafore, all workers who have or had a job registered with the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) or the Institute of Social Security and Social Services of State Workers (ISSSTE), have an individual Afore account.
