Quito, 23 Mar The Spanish matador David Fandila 'El Fandi' will be the great attraction of the poster of the Lord of Good Success Fair, to be held on April 23 in Riobamba, city in the Andean region of Chimborazo, Ecuador. The 'Fandi', one of the great idols of bullfighting in Ecuador, will be accompanied in the Plaza Raúl Davalos by his compatriot Roman Collado and Venezuelan Jesús Enrique Colombo, according to the poster announced by the company Triana, the organizer of the fair. The Valencian Collado has garnered important victories worldwide and he already knows what it is like to fight in the Plaza de Riobamba, while Colombo will make his debut at this albero after achieving important achievements in Ecuador, specifically in the Belmonte bullring, in the city of Quito. The Riobamba Fair will be organized again by Triana, a company run by the matador José Luis Cobo, who already held a successful bullfight in the same bullfighting arena last November with 'El Fandi' also as the winner, and will now give another afternoon of international bullfighting on the occasion of the city's festivities. Riobamba, known as the bullfighting capital of the country, has a demanding and knowledgeable hobby that always awaits renowned posters such as the one that the company Triana finishes on this occasion, which generate great expectation, since it will be the second bullfighting fair this year in Ecuador after the outbreak of the pandemic. Specifically, this will be the first fair that can be held with full lines, since last week the national and health authorities of Ecuador eliminated all capacity restrictions and only the mask and the vaccination certificate remain as the main precaution against covid-19. With one month to go before the announced bullfight, the Riobamba fans have a special enthusiasm to measure the bullfighters who will jump into their arena this time, especially 'El Fandi', which in November was able to open the big door of Raúl Davalos square.
