“What a special day... we are celebrating 25 years of SELENA! Today we celebrate and honor Selena's legacy and music. This movie means a lot to me... Selena and her family mean a lot to me and I was very lucky that they chose me to play her. I will never forget this time in my life and it is an honor as an artist to have been part of the magic that this film is,” he wrote.

As part of her message, the Bronx Diva thanked her for being selected to give life to the artist, who at just 23 years old managed to set a standard in the music industry in the United States, gaining international fame with her performances and won the opportunity to record songs in English, a trust that cost her a lot of work to get from the record companies.

As she explained, her daughter's fans will be able to hear her voice again with unreleased songs, some recorded during her childhood.

“It is a total of 13 songs that my son A.B. worked on this album, took 10 songs that are part of our catalog of our company and completely remade the new music, beautiful arrangements. Some of the songs are made in ballads and some are cumbias,” he explained.
