Commercial activities officially began at Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA) this Monday, March 21. One of the most important works promoted by the current federal government administration headed by Andrés Manuel López Obrador was launched after a period of construction of just 29 months.

Both the first takeoff and landing flights took place minutes before the reception ceremony and commencement of operations took place. While the first departure for AIFA took place at 06:53 hours with a plane bound for Villahermosa, Tabasco, the first arrival was around 09:52 hours. The aircraft arrived from Guadalajara, Jalisco.

Miguel Ángel arrived from the tapatias lands, who this morning prepared to travel to Mexico City through the new airport facilities and to be one of the first people to use the terminal located at the Santa Lucia military base, which in turn is located in the municipality of Zumpango, in the State of Mexico.

While Michelangelo was flying, his wife Radharani Ricaud and more members of the family were already waiting for him in the vicinity of the new enclosure. Despite the fact that the flight was scheduled to make landfall at 10:30am, Radharani arrived hours earlier to visit the facilities

Together with his children, he left Mexico City at approximately 05:00 in the morning in his private vehicle. After a journey of more than two hours, almost three, they finally arrived. In addition to the unavailability of all the ways promised to connect with the work, his path became complicated because the signs, he said, were not very clear.

After taking a brief tour of the site and having confirmed the landing of the airplane where her husband was traveling, Radharani approached the arrival gate of domestic flights around 10:20am. Almost half an hour later, the long-awaited meeting had not yet passed. At the time of landing, Miguel Ángel, who has a Youtube news channel, was broadcasting live when the signal was suddenly cut off due to the low signal that exists in the terminal.

With a cell phone in hand, Radharani's impatience increased. The time to record Michelangelo took longer than expected. About two hours passed after her arrival to see her husband. Ten minutes before the end of 11:00, he finally showed up. It was not only to see her husband, but to record the arrival of the first users at the Felipe Ángeles.

Miguel Ángel told Infobae that it was a “wonderful” flight. He said he was very excited to be part of the first plane to leave Guadalajara and arrive at AIFA. His flight lasted just over an hour and had no complications; on the contrary, he said that there was a toast, they gave them snacks without charge and even cheered on President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

Miguel had planned his flight for about a month ago. And he chose to arrive at AIFA to be part of the first group to land. And it worked for him. Among the 20 operations recorded on the first day of activities, between arrivals and departures, the Guadalajara-Mexico City flight (Felipe Ángeles) was recorded as the first arrival in history.

One of the moments that most excited him was when they baptized the flight before and after it landed. Finally, Miguel Ángel stated that he does consider making frequent trips from AIFA, although everything will depend on the price of the tickets, since the one he got were on sale and a week later the price increased twice.
