AFP pointed out that a heavy explosion was heard in Kiev early on Wednesday morning, and feathers with black smoke were heard in the sky.
Around the time of 06H00 (05H00 GMT), at least three powerful explosions were heard in western Kiev, which was subject to a 36-hour curfew.
Recently, Russian artillery and aviation have intensified shelling of Ukrainian cities.
A thick black smoke was observed in the city sky, just like when a Russian attack struck several residential buildings after the explosion.
The local authorities did not report the facts, and the press was not circulating due to curfew.
Three weeks after the invasion of Ukraine, Russian troops have recently intensified fires targeting regions of the West, as well as cities where intense battles are taking place, such as Kharkiv (north), Kiev suburbs, Mariupol (south), and Mykolaiv (south).
