During this month, thousands of seniors enrolled in the Bienestar Pension program have already started to collect the resources of that economic support provided by the Mexican government. However, if you do not receive full payment of the aid, or in case you do not deposit by the deadline, we will reveal here what to do.
It should be remembered that according to the Secretariat of Welfare, two bimonths will be advanced to
adults who are part of the program, with 21 March being the last day to receive it.
This is the collection of 7,700 pesos during the month of March, due to the advance payment of one more two-month period, that is, the resources corresponding to: March- April and May-June.
Therefore, in the event that the deposit is not reflected or does not receive it in full, those affected may do the following:
*Call the Welfare Hotline and report the disagreement.
*The corresponding number for this is: 800 636 42 64.
In addition, there is also a special telephone number to find out the total balance of the card, where interested parties can call and find out the current amount on their plastic.
How to know the total amount of the card?
-Enter the following telephone number: 800 900 2000. Once there, you will need to press the 1 key.
-You will then need to insert the 16 digits of your card.
-Enter your date of birth.
It should be remembered that, according to the Secretariat of Welfare, it was authorized to disperse another two months of pension payments during March, following the authorization of the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, due to the electoral ban and popular consultation that will take place in the country.
As already announced in previous days, this month there will be a modification ahead of the elections to appoint governors and local representatives, which will take place in six entities of the country, which are: Aguascalientes, Durango, Hidalgo, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo and Tamaulipas.
The Welfare Secretariat has announced that seniors can use the resources at any time and use their card as they prefer.
Where can you use your card?
*The Wellness Card can be received in all commercial establishments, such as: self-service stores, pharmacies, restaurants, among others.
*You can withdraw your money in Telecomm.
*Access your resources through the ATMs of any bank, although they will charge a commission. As well as those of Banco Bienestar, which will not apply any commission.
It will also be important to remember that the increase to the Welfare Pension will continue to rise in favor of older adults who are registered. According to the President, this is a gradual increase plan, which seeks that by 2024, all older adults receive more than 5,000 pesos from the Government on a bimonthly basis.
Older adults who are interested in being part of the program must meet certain requirements such as being 65 years of age or older, as well as submit the necessary documentation at the time of registration.
