The wife of the mayor of Bogotá said that from the beginning of her candidacy that, although she had doubts about representing the party, she took the risk to continue with the green.

However, his position is not understood, as he closely follows the campaign of the former mayor of Medellín and former governor of Antioquia, Sergio Fajardo, who received fewer votes than Marquez.

She is a lawyer from the Universidad de la Sabana and a master's degree in Development Management and Practice from the Universidad de los Andes; for the period 2005-2008 she was the local mayor of Chapinero, in 2011-2013 a councilor of Bogotá; Representative to the Chamber for Bogotá in 2014, and by 2018 she formed the Senate.

Her work focuses on supporting women, as her marital status has moved her into feminist agendas “being a woman in Colombia means growing up with stereotypical roles that discriminate and increase the risk of violence, entering the labor market with higher unemployment and informality, as well as working for inequality in domestic and care”, he said.

One of the main defeated in the consultations to choose candidates for the presidency was the former Minister of Health, Alejandro Gaviria, who resigned from the rectory of the Universidad de los Andes to enter this political crusade.

In the Coalition of Hope consultation won by former mayor of Medellín, Sergio Fajardo, with a percentage of about 33% of the vote, Gaviria won fourth place only 15% of the support at the polls.

The surprise in this meeting was given by the young former governor of Boyacá, Carlos Amaya, who ranked second in this coalition with 22% of the vote, and was followed by Juan Manuel Galán with a very similar vote.

Senator Angelica Lozano joined the social media strategy to campaign politically and in this way she joined Tik Tok, the platform most used by the centennial to spend time, so in her space she has dedicated herself to showing a more personal side and took the opportunity to get her followers out of doubt about How did the love between her and her wife Mayor Claudia López come about?

Recall that number 10 on the Green Party list, had already told that in mid-2007, when she was the local mayor of Chapinero, Claudia López published her book Parapolítica and the launch took place at the Coliseum of the Gimnasio Moderno. Lozano attended and did all the necessary steps to get the author, his current spouse, to give him an autograph. However, there did not begin the flirting or the outings, but everything was the beginning of a friendship based on common ideas.

“She signed it and wrote me this dedication: 'To my favorite mayor and an enduring friend towards the future. A hug”, she said she added that it gave her deep happiness when she realized that the mayor of the capital recognized her.

After that, according to his Tik Tok video that he recorded with his partner, they saw each other once a year or two at most to talk about politics and other things: “like in slow motion, like yes, like we didn't, like we talked about politics, like he flirted with me but of course he didn't, and suddenly he got lost, and then suddenly he came back, and I was studying abroad,” he noted. Claudia López, to which Lozano interrupted and corrected by saying “I didn't flirt. I would write him an email that if we saw each other twice a year and around a lunch”, to which finally the president added: “The truth is that we didn't know what it was like”.

The candidate to return to the Senate for another period admitted that she was always attracted to López, but both said that nothing had happened until that moment because the two had a partner until one day Claudia López returned to the country, because she was studying in the United States, and her partner at that time “kicked her out”.

During her tusa season, the mayor met the senator once again, to talk as usual and have a coffee: “I saw her badly since I arrived and then I asked her what she was going to do,” Lozano said, to which the mayor replied: “I am very sad because my girlfriend threw me out and I have a brave tusa. At 8 o'clock I told you today Friday, you councilman, pila, new, you must have a thousand plans, instead I am going to have a friend indulge me my tusa”.
