World Bowling Secures Global Broadcast for Men's Championship

LAUSANNE, November 29, 2018 – The world’s best bowlers will enjoy international coverage with broadcast partnerships secured for the World Bowling Men’s Championship in Hong Kong on December 1st– 5th December 2018.

The event will be showcased across multiple territories in China (Tencent), Hong Kong, (i-Cable), Indonesia (TVRI), Singapore (StarHub) Malaysia (Astro), Mongolia (SPS HD), Myanmar (SkyNet), Thailand (TrueVisions), Vietnam (HTV, VTV Cab, SCTV), New Zealand (Sky Sports), Finland (Elisa), Netherlands (Ziggo), Canada (Flo Sports), USA (Flo Sports) and the Olympic Channel for all remaining countries.

The deals were distributed by World Bowling’s sports consultancy Reddentes Sports, who were appointed last month to oversee the broadcast production and media rights for next week’s World Bowling Men’s Championships.

World Bowling President, Sheikh Talal Mohammed Al-Sabah says "We are delighted to have our flagship event for 2018 shown across the globe, particularly in Asia, Europe and North America where bowling enjoys a strong following. We are encouraged by Reddentes Sport’s ability to secure these broadcast deals in order to raise bowling’s profile and grow the sport. We look forward to allowing our fans the ability to follow the best male bowlers in the world next week as the World Champions are crowned in Hong Kong."

Sunday 2nd December: Men Doubles – 1830 (+8 GMT)

Monday 3rd December: Men Trios – 1800 (+8 GMT)

Tuesday 4th December: Men Team – 1700 (+8 GMT)

Wednesday 5th December: Men Masters – 1500 (+8 GMT)

The World Bowling Men’s Championships is the most prestigious male only event for bowling featuring the worlds top male athletes. Held every four years, this years event includes 47 countries and 265 athletes competing in Hong Kong
