Taishan Sports Industry Group and SportAccord sign agreement

November 3, 2014: SportAccord and Taishan Sports Industry Group of China signed into agreement a 4-year long commercial partnership at the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne. The agreement was signed between SportAccord President, Marius L. Vizer; SportAccord Director General, Vlad Marinescu; Taishan Sports Industry Group Chairman, Bian Zhi Liang and Taishan Sports Industry Group Executive Director, Cui Gang.

According to the terms of the agreement, Taishan Sports Industry Group will provide all sports equipment and supplies, including surfaces, to SportAccord for the duration of the contract.

Expressing his pleasure over the historic agreement, Mr. Vizer said, "The expertise of Taishan Sports Industry Group will bring great value to all SportAccord events and enable SportAccord to reach out to a wider cross-section of society across the world."

Taishan Sports Industry Group was the official supplier of equipment for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and Paralympics, amongst many other international events. Recognising the unprecedented potential of the deal, Mr. Liang said, "This agreement will provide great synergy between SportAccord and Taishan Sports Industry Group. Being the official suppliers of equipment and surfaces of all SportAccord events, we will be able to ensure uniformity across sports and gain penetration into newer markets at the global level."
