(ATR) Around the Ringswas on the scene for the Rio 2016 world press briefing this week.

Chief executive officer of Rio 2016 Sydney Levy told reporters he envisioned a "clean, fit and fun" Olympics in Rio.

Following the press briefing, reporters were taken on a venue tour around Rio, visiting sites such as the athletes' village, Olympic Stadium, aquatics center and the Rio golf course. This will be the first Olympics with golf on the sporting program since the 1904 Games in St. Louis.

Many of the projects are still under construction as the organizing committee approaches the 10 month mark before the beginning of the Games next August. However, organizers are confident all venues will be completed well before athletes arrive on site.
