Nigel Fletcher is founder and Managing Director of Sports Development Marketing (SDM). SDM was founded in 2009 along with his wife Magdalena Fletcher. SDM is a network and events company, dedicated to sport. SDM owns and fully manages The International Sports Convention, International Sports Chamber of Commerce, International Sports Awards as well as other niche sport business conferences and events. SDM main office is in Maison du Sport, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Nigel was born and educated in Cambridge, UK and has dedicated himself to the Global Sports Industry. He has a BA Hons from Loughborough University, PGCE from University of Oxford, MSc in The Business of Football from Birkbeck College, University of London and MBA in Football Industries from University of Liverpool. The first person globally to attain two sports masters degrees. He holds the UEFA B Coaching License.

Previously spent 5.5 years at FIFA in Zurich, was Founder and owner of British Premier Soccer in the UK and marketing Director of The English Sports Association for persons with learning disabilities and advised The Football Association.

Nigel lives in Lausanne with his wife and two children. His spare time is trying to find his tennis form, and where time allows lowering his golf handicap. He is also a member of The British Swiss Chamber of Commerce and committee member of Geneva Chapter and the lead for Lausanne/Vaud. Nigel is also the class 4c representative for his eldest son at Champittet College in Pully.

Nigel has been recently appointed as Vice-Chairman of the Lake Geneva Sports Commission.
