Miami (martes 21 de mayo de 2019) - La Confederación de Norte, Centroamérica y el Caribe de Fútbol Asociación (Concacaf) presentó hoy el calendario de la fase de grupos de la edición 2019-2020 de la Liga de Naciones Concacaf. Los 102 partidos de las Ligas A, B y C se llevarán a cabo durante las fechas de la FIFA de septiembre, octubre y noviembre de 2019.
Al finalizar la fase de grupos de ida y vuelta, los ganadores de cada grupo de la Liga A se clasificarán para el Campeonato Final, mientras que los ganadores de los grupos de la Liga B y C serán promovidos a la Liga A y B para la próxima edición de la competencia. Además, los últimos equipos de cada Liga A y grupo B serán relegados a Liga B y C respectivamente.

El sorteo oficial, que subdividió a las tres Ligas en grupos, se llevó a cabo el miércoles 27 de marzo de 2019 en el Teatro Chelsea de Las Vegas, Nevada. El Director de Fútbol de Concacaf, Manolo Zubiria, realizó el sorteo junto con el Director de Desarrollo de Concacaf y el exfutbolista internacional de Grenada, Jason Roberts.
La Liga de Naciones Concacaf comenzó con una fase de calificación. Después de 68 partidos, los 34 equipos participantes fueron compilados en una tabla agregada, clasificándolos de 1 a 34. La posición final de cada equipo determinó si se colocaron en la Liga A, B o C.
En virtud de haber clasificado para el Hexagonal de las eliminatorias para la Copa Mundial de la FIFA Rusia 2018, Costa Rica, Honduras, México, Panamá, Estados Unidos y Trinidad y Tobago han sido previamente sembrados en la Liga A. Además, Guatemala, que no participó en la Fase Clasificatoria debido a una suspensión impuesta por la FIFA, será colocada en la Liga C.
