Bogota 2015 first to present at PASO general assembly

October 19, 2009 – Bogotá will have the honor of opening final presentations before the assembly of the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) when they meet on the morning of November 6 at the Hilton Hotel in Guadalajara, Mexico to decide who will host the 2015 Pan American Games.

The strengths of the Bogotá bid to become host of the XVII Pan American and V Para Pan American Games will be laid out by members of the Bogotá 2015 delegation during an hour long presentation. Point by point the delegation will explain bid details and present their arguments on why the Colombian capital deserves to become the sports capital of the Americas in 2015.

The PASO assembly is made up of presidents and secretaries general of the 42 Olympic committees from the Americas, in addition to representatives of all Pan American sports confederations.

Bogotá is a city that is accustomed to hosting great sporting, social and cultural events and the Bogotá 2015 Organizing Committee looks forward to the announcement of which city will have the honor of hosting the 2015 Games.
