(ATR) - One of the giant arches for the roof of the Olympic Stadium in Athens is expected to be moved into place in the coming days, the head of the IOC's coordination commission for the 2004 Olympics tells Around the Rings.
Denis Oswald says work on the stadium is going well and that delays in moving the roof arches are being made up with other work to get the stadium ready for the Games.
Athens Mayor Dora Bakoyannis, speaking in Paris as part of a global campaign to boost the image of her city, told journalists today that with just over 100 days to go until the Olympics, "I now feel even more optimistic that they will be a success."
