(ATR) A report in Around the Rings earlier this week failed to give proper credit to the graphic designer who actually created the logo for the 20004 Olympics.

Our story about the selection of Wolff Olins to create the new logos for the London Olympics and Paralympics mentioned the company's work in 1999 on the creation of the Athens logo and the international branding for the 2004 Games.

Red Design Consultants of Athens, led by creative director Rodanthi Senduka, tells Around the Rings that his firm produced the now familiar white olive wreath on a blue background. The logo was launched in 1999.

Senduka says Wolff Olins collaborated with Red Design on the overall international branding, of which Senduka's logo was part of the package.
