
TransMilenio S.A informed that there will be several modifications to the Banderas station, in Troncal Américas, since April 23, 2022, the modification is the transfer of the stop of the route M51 Museo Nacional, which will now be next to that of the C19 and J23. It is noteworthy that it was previously in the same one of B28 and E32, so the entity recommends that its users plan their routes before leaving home to avoid setbacks, or inform themselves of news through their social networks.

He also pointed out that, in the trunk system, the new fleet of electric buses and that TransmiCable will be able to enjoy “Reading in Motion”, which allows through QR codes, to access content from the Digital Library of Bogotá, from BibloRed.
For his part, Nicolás Montero, Secretary of Culture, Recreation and Sport, said that “registering using these codes and accessing the resources of the Digital Library, allows us to weave a better city and make transport in Transmilenio an increasingly dignified experience. The BDB is an open access public service that allows us to enjoy multiple virtual resources. Together we can make reading and understanding it dignify life.”
“Access to the Digital Library of Bogotá, through 50,000 QR codes, will also be in the new fleet of electric buses that recently entered the System and is in addition to the technological services it offers, such as QR code tags, Wi-Fi and USB ports, which allow more and more people to access reading for free through mobile devices,” Transmilenio said.

The entity explained that this commitment integrates the 12 BiblioStations located in various stations and portals of the Bogotá Public Transport System, through an alliance between the District Network of Public Libraries of Bogotá, BibloRed and TransMilenio.
“Biblestations are small libraries with a collection that includes books for all ages, such as novels, stories, poetry, informative books, academics, among others. The materials are available for consultation in the space or for external loan, becoming places conducive to the encounter with reading,” Transmilenio said.
