Authorities in Mexico City captured three members of the Tlahuac Cartel in two different operations, which resulted in the arrest of two operators of the criminal organization, as well as a drug dealer operating on the streets of the delegation located south of the capital.
One of the operators was captured by Mexico City police while they were conducting security tours, while the other leader of a cell and one of his drug dealers were captured thanks to an operation by the capital's prosecutor's office.
On the afternoon of last Tuesday, April 12, agents of the Ministry of Citizen Security (SSC) arrested Raúl Guillermo Aguilar Alcalá, El Memotero, who is accused of leading a cell of the Tláhuac Cartel and coordinating the distribution of drugs in the state.
The Memotero would receive direct orders from Don Pollo, the organization's regional leader, who in turn responded to what was commanded by Felipe de Jesús Pérez Luna's son, El Ojos, who was identified as Fernándo Perez and who would be the current leader of the criminal organization.
The SSC agents who captured the Memotero were carrying out preventive work in the Santa Ana Poniente neighborhood when they noticed the presence of two men traveling on board a vehicle, who were allegedly selling drugs from the unit.
Noticing the presence of the uniformed, the subjects tried to escape on board the vehicle in which they were in, so the police began a chase against them, resulting in the interception of the car by the uniformed.
After being hit by the police officers, the co-pilot got out of the vehicle and started running in an unknown direction, so he managed to escape from the authorities, while El Memotero, who was driving the unit, was captured by the uniformed.
The operator of the Tlahuac Cartel was secured 41 plastic bags containing marijuana, 12 wrappers containing cocaine and 250 pesos in cash, which was handed over to the local Public Prosecutor's Office, which will determine its legal status.
One day after these events, the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City (FGJ), through agents of the Investigative Police (PDI), conducted a search at a home in the San José neighborhood of the Tláhuac mayor's office, where José Lindoro “M”, 41 years old, and a minor, who belong to the original criminal organization of that mayor's office.
Religious figures, weapons and 32 stone cocaine wrappers, five sachets of white powder, a scale and four large bags of powdered cocaine were found at the site, so the police were able to determine that drug abuse was taking place in the area.
On March 11, agents of the FGJ arrested Cristian Fuenleal, a Public Prosecutor of the same branch and who was accused of maintaining links with the Tláhuac Cartel, for which an arrest warrant had been issued against him.
According to investigations by the capital authorities, the public servant used his position to provide information to the criminal group operating with remnants in the south east of the country's capital. For this reason, he is being investigated for crimes in the form of the administration of justice.
