The 'four babys' could return to MasterChef Celebrity, reveal production secret

On February 21, the first episode of the fourth season of MasterChef Celebrity Colombia was released, and although RCN Televisión expected the cooking competition to be as successful as its previous installment, audience levels have not been as expected.

For this reason, and as part of a strategy that would allow them to attract the attention of television viewers, the production of the show thought of repeating the formula of the 'four babys' (Carla Giraldo, Marbelle, Viña Machado and Catalina Maya), who caused great controversy in the last edition.

This was revealed by journalist Carlos Ochoa, known as the 'Television Bible', who also explained the reasons why these controversial participants did not reach an agreement with the channel for their return.

According to what was stated by the fellow presenter of the regional channel Teleantioquia, actress Carla Giraldo, who was crowned the winner of the third season, did not return to 'the most famous cuisine in the country' because she could not agree with the figure offered. In his replacement, was Frank Martinez.

While the recent controversies that have involved Marbelle and her daughter Rafaella, were decisive in deciding that it was not a good idea to take her back to MasterChef Celebrity. In addition, 'the queen of the technocarrilera' is recording another cooking contest today and this also influenced.

The reactions to Carlos Ochoa's announcement were not long in coming, of course, and through the comments of his publication, the public let their opinion on the matter known.

“Luckily they didn't come back, how lazy they caused so much controversy”, “although it doesn't have a rating, this was the MaterChef that I liked the most” and “the mistake was to abuse the recipe, because the program was well received on weekends and now it's boring to have to watch it from Monday to Friday”; these are some of the messages that were raised.

And although RCN failed to reunite its 'four babys', in the most recent episode of the reality show other contestants who made history there were congregated : Piter Albeiro, Freddy Beltrán, El Mindo, Juanda Caribe and Hassam.
