Gianella Neyra couldn't contain her excitement after seeing the presentation of José Luis Aldamano Salas, known as Cochicho Peru, along with his art colleagues. This past Saturday, April 2, Latina broadcast another edition of Peru Tiene Talento, where a dance group came to the stage and performed 'I screamed negro', a version of teacher Vitoria Santa Cruz.

Such was the energy transmitted by the dance body that the sworn members did not hesitate to express their emotion, especially Gianella Neyra, who released a live smoothness, surprising those present.

“My God, what an incredible country we have, damn it. It is so powerful when we embrace our roots, when we embrace our essence, when we tell our truth, that I swear you have moved me to tears. I thank you very much that you are here saying what you have said, because that is important,” said Gianella Neyra, who before that, applauded him standing next to Ricardo Morán, Mimy Succar and Renzo Schuller.

For his part, Morán indicated that he likes the traditional, but also that they bring it to the present. Likewise, like Gianella, he gave them the ok to move on to the next phase. However, he stressed that they have a rather high fence, because they have chosen a very powerful staging.

Mimy Succar and Renzo Schuller also expressed their joy when they saw the performance of Cochicho Peru, and not only did they give him the pass to continue in competition, but they also encouraged themselves to give a little dance of Afro-Peruvian music.

OTHER PRESENTATIONS ON APRIL 2

Peru Has Talent is a program that shows the skills of Peruvians. It is led by Mathias Brivio and a demanding jury composed of Gianella Neyra, Ricardo Morán, Renzo Schuller and Mimi Succar, who are responsible for qualifying hundreds of artists arriving from all over Peru.

This Saturday not only introduced Chochicho Peru and his companions, we were also able to see a genius boy who, at only 6 years old, arrives from Andahuaylas and dazzled those present by answering questions of general culture, current affairs, countries and capitals, leaving the public and the jury.

There was also a 13-year-old who came from Pueblo Libre and left the jury open-mouthed by playing a homemade drums like a professional. The musical instrument consists of various objects: an armchair, boxes, books, straw fans, etc. The audition began when the young man took the drumsticks and played under the track of Beggin, a song by the band Måneskin.

We also saw a musical group composed of three Ayacucho brothers and a young Russian girl, they played quena and sang to the rhythm of “El condor pasa”. The audition began when the leader of the group introduced each of the members, and told how he met the young Russian woman, with whom he now has a relationship and shares his love for art. The members of the jury called their staging “wonderful”, achieving a unanimous yes to continue to the next round. These are some of the talents that were presented in Mathías Brivio's space.

MATHÍAS BRIVIO AND GIANELLA NEYRA WILL DRIVE MY PEOPLE UPSTAIRS

After Women in Command came to an end on 25 February, many wondered what was going to be the program that would replace it. Well, Latina answered the question after launching the promotion of Arriba Mi Gente, a space that will arrive in April and will be led by Mathías Brivio, Gianella Neyra, Santi Lesmes and Karina Borrero.

According to Latina, the magazine will hit screens with a “totally renewed approach with the latest entertainment, entertainment, exclusive interviews and new sequences to be closer to the public.”

“This new cross-platform format will offer viewers a live space with everything they need to start their day right,” says the television station's press release.

The cast is made up of Mathias Brivio, Gianella Neyra, Santi Lesmes and Karina Borrero, however, it will have a “fifth conductor”, whose name has not yet been revealed.

It should be noted that the promotional video released by the channel shows the alleged fifth female driver at the Mexico City International Airport, where the voiceover says: “She is also ours”. Will Sheyla Rojas be the fifth driver?
