Atlético Nacional, after an irregular start to the season that led to the departure of coach Alejandro Restrepo, will visit Patriotas, this Saturday, April 2 at 6:10 in the afternoon, with an eye on extending his good moment, which has him second in the table two points behind the leader Millonarios.

The interim coach, Hernán Darío Herrera, will not have Argentine centre-back Emmanuel Olivera, suspended with accumulation of yellows, while the creative Jarlan Barrera is doubtful because of a back pain that what he suffered in training this week.

Precisely during the week there was talk again about the alleged departure of this flyer to international football. According to journalist Pipe Sierra, the player would have reached an agreement to renew his bond with Nacional, who would be thinking of a future sale to Vasco Da Gama that would pay close to three million dollars.

With the purslane jacket, Jarlan has played a total of 116 matches where he scored 27 goals and distributed 21 assists and was vital in the Betplay Cup title in 2021 where they defeated Deportivo Pereira.

His professional debut came with the Barranquilla Junior jersey in 2013 where he scored 35 goals and gave 28 assists. With the 'Tiburón' he won two Colombian Cups (2015 and 2017) and was crowned league champion in 2018.

Another case faced by the managers of Atlético Nacional is the renewal of the contract of Baldomero Perlaza, with whom he has not been able to reach an agreement for the extension of his employment relationship. It should be remembered that the player has just recovered from a severe injury he suffered last year in the first leg of the Colombia Cup final against Deportivo Pereira.

Former Cúcuta Deportivo, has already returned to practice with the 'King of cups' and was even on the bench of substitutes in the game against Independiente Santa Fe. Likewise, the Vallecaucano recently declared that his intention is to stay in Nacional and return to his best form.

Patriotas, meanwhile, will look for a win that will take him away from the relegation positions and allow him to dream of qualifying for the home runs, because of the last nine points he won six with two very popular victories against Deportes Tolima in Ibague and America in Cali.
