This Thursday, March 31, a new day of protests was presented in the capital of the Republic that affected mobility in the north-south direction by the Pedagogical University and on Circunvalar Avenue, towards the east of the city, in the vicinity of the District University.
In addition to these two hotbeds of confrontation, another one appeared on Avenida Villavicencio, south of Bogotá, which lasted into the late hours of the night.
Roads such as Calle 72, Race 11 and 15 were affected by marches that did not end in riots as the protesters were accompanied by Esmad and the Bogotá Metropolitan Police.
In the case of the District University, after five hours, Esmad controlled the riots in the north and in the city center and arrested five people whose tasks consisted of stopping traffic that affected mobility in both places.

The authorities have deployed different fronts to find those responsible for the incident, having as their main indication the name who would have been the mastermind of the terrorist action.
According to the Bogotá Metropolitan Police, this would be Javier Alonso Velosa García, alias 'John Mechas', a man who would belong to the 33rd Front of the FARC dissidents and for whom an amount of 5 billion pesos is offered.
The Ministry of Defense also released the faces of those who are the most wanted criminals in the city for crimes such as homicide and terrorism.
The names of the alleged antisocials were also known: Edwin Alfredo López Casteblanco, Alfredo Miguel Vivanco, alias Gordo; Anderson Torres Jimenez, alias Anderson; Manuel Alejandro Garcia, Yeimis Vicente Garcia and Johel Arrieta Siolo.
In this regard, President Iván Duque announced that Bogotá will take new security measures to protect the capital from other possible attacks in the city and to ensure greater security on the streets.
As a result, 20 police checkpoints will be deployed at the entrances and exits of Bogotá, as well as some members of the national army outside the city to monitor suspicious criminal activity that could affect more lives.
The Security Council was attended by Mayor Claudia López, Defense Minister Diego Molano, her counterpart from the Ministry of the Interior Diego Palacios, as well as the national president Iván Duque who was accompanied by the military leadership. At the meeting, they analyzed everything that has been happening in terms of security, so they have taken action on it.
Other measures include Plan 1000, which seeks to dismantle more than 30 criminal gangs already identified by the authorities. There would also be a reinforcement of the corps of agents with one of 1000 temporary units that will support security until further notice.
