Sporting San Miguelito and CAI will go on the hunt for leaders in Panama

Panama City, Mar 24 Sporting San Miguelito and the Club Atlético Independiente de La Chorrera (CAI) will start on this ninth date of the 2022 Apertura tournament of the Panamanian Football League (LPF) in search of the leaders of their respective conferences. The San Miguelito team, coached by the Brazilian Felipe Borowsky, second place in the East with 14 points, will be played this Friday against the western team, San Francisco de La Chorrera. Sporting would take the top of their division to get a win and with a stumble from the Alianza, leader of the East with 15 points and that same Friday will be measured against the University Sports Club. Friday will be completed by the clash between Veraguas United, which will have as news the Argentine coach Daniel Lanata on the bench and Paraguayan Jorge “Conejo” Benítez on the field, against Potros del Este, coached by Venezuelan Daniel Blanco and who maintain a series of good results. In the West, the CAI of Venezuelan Ivan Guerra, second place in the group with 14 units, will face Tauro F.C., defending champion and third place in the Eastern conference. The CAI will try to get a good result against the urged bullfighting squad and waiting for Atletico Chiriqui to lose points to the Arabian United of Colón, the eastern coloist, to take the lead in the standings. The match between Plaza Amador and Herrra F.C. will seal Saturday the ninth date of the Panamanian opening tournament.
