Big Cuevita! The footballer Christian Cueva kept his promise and presented a laptop to Eduardo Vargas, a young man from the Huamachuco department in La Libertad who he was scammed by a bad woman by supposedly selling him a cell phone, but it was really just glass.
As you remember, Eduardo told a few weeks ago a guy approached him to offer him a modern cell phone, under the pretext that he needed money to go to Trujillo because he had run out of passage.
“I was in the square and a guy told me to sell me my cell phone. He said 'give me your cell phone and 50 more soles'. He showed me the Samsung Galaxy A51 cell phone and I was a fan of the cell phone. I gave it to him and he took it with the 50 suns,” said Vargas González.
After making the deal, he realized that the equipment was in a case. However, when checking the equipment he was gone and saw only a piece of thick glass.
Eduardo showed what he received to the HCO Tv Huamachuco channel. “I didn't notice, I kept it and said he did give me the cell phone. I kept walking and in 9 minutes and I found a glass, from there I decided to come to the square,” he added. “He is from a cachaco jacket, medium tall, he is 20 years old. He showed me the DNI. He was just telling me to sell him his cell phone. We are walking and he would show me his cell phone (...) He was alone,” he said.
Vargas commented that due to the remoteness of his community, he needed a better quality cell phone to continue his studies. As a result, he had to look for work on the coast of the region (in the Chao district), far from home in order to buy the equipment. However, the subject stole it with the tactic of the 'change' when he wanted to buy a better quality mobile phone.
“I tried very hard to go to the coast and continue my studies later. My goal is to be a good operator of heavy machinery. The mobile equipment used it for studies, everything was there,” he told the media outlet Hco TV.
Given this, his case quickly became known and many people sympathized with the young man, as he tried to buy a better cell phone to pick up a better signal and continue his studies.
So it was that he soon managed to get another cellular device. “Thanks to a friend from Lima who sent me the new equipment. I really appreciate it because now it will help me and now I use it for my class groups,” Eduardo Vargas González told Hco TV.
“I thank them, because they helped me a lot because they helped me a lot because they sent me their volunteers from distant countries (...) There are many who want to help me with the [Engineering] scholarship, it will be for later. I am grateful to all my friends,” he added.
IT'S CHRISTIAN CUEVA'S TURN
Christian Cueva, our national team this time put on the solidarity shirt and did not hesitate to look for this young man and give him a laptop to continue his studies. Through the program “En Boca de Todos”, the young man was pleasantly surprised by the good heart of the footballer and that of his wife.
“I feel very happy and happy,” said the young man who said he has always admired the midfielder. Eduardo's mother, who also arrived in the capital from Huamachuco, thanked the Saudi Arabian Al-Fateh player for the gesture.
