“Constitutional rapist”: Vicente Fox broke out against AMLO for challenging the electoral ban

The former president issued a warning to the president after the INE identified AIFA government propaganda on the morning of 21 March

Guardar

The former president, Vicente Fox, again rushed against the current president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), for - again - violating the electoral ban implemented since February 04 for the exercise of Mandate Revocation.

This, following the decree of the National Electoral Institute (INE) to withdraw the audiovisual material and stenographic version of the morning of March 21, the which was considered government propaganda because of the pronouncements on Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA). Same instruction for any content related to the inauguration of this mega project.

Hence, through his Twitter account, the activist of National Action (PAN) issued a warning to the Chief Executive to become a “devalued president” and “constitutional violator” if he continued to insist on revealing himself to the Law.

The order of the INE Complaints and Complaints Commission, published on March 23, resulted from the resolution of four requests for precautionary measures by the PAN, that of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) and the Institutional Revolutionary (PRI).

It should be recalled that Andrés Manuel did not give a speech at the official inauguration of the AIFA because of the ban, but not during his then morning conference, where the assistant cabinet spent time explaining and resolving questions from the press about the Santa Lucia air base.

“It disseminates government activities, linked to the achievements and actions of the government, such as the opening and functioning of AIFA by highlighting the coverage, investment and benefits that such work entails,” the Commission determined in an official statement.

In addition to noting the Government's Propaganda Commission in a Prohibited Period, the complaints also pointed to the improper promotion of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) to the Revocation of Mandate, as well as its call for citizens to promote the exercise.

“The INE is the only authority competent to officially and definitively approve and disseminate the list and location of boxes that will be installed on April 10,” he recalled.

And this is not the first time that the organ draws attention to Tabasqueño or members of Morena for challenging the ban and promoting government actions or personalities.

This was the case of the progress report on the fertilizer program of Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) on the morning of March 7, or the brief in which governors of the Cherry Party gave “endorsement” to López Obrador broadcast on February 16. Both actions, worthy of precautionary measures after being catalogued by the INE government propaganda.

Under this tenor, Fox Quesada called on the INE to criminalize “in an exemplary way”, since the actions of the Tabasqueño and his bench would once again be “teasing” the Institute, as well as the Mexican Constitution.
