An entertaining party culminated in a massacre. A group of criminals entered a birthday celebration and shot the guests leaving three dead. The events took place early on Tuesday, March 22, in a house located in the jiron José Olaya, in the village of Villa María, district of Nuevo Chimbote, Santa province, in the Áncash region.
The raw images captured minutes after the massacre show the bodies lying on the ground next to the cases of beer that shortly before the attack were drinking without concern. Apparently, the victims did not have time to react to the shots and to safety.
The policemen who arrived at the scene began by recognizing which bodies, from those lying on the floor, were still alive to pick them up and take them to the hospital.
REASONS FOR THE CRIME
“He was his childhood friend. He invited him to the party. My brother didn't want to come, he said no. He doesn't have any good friends here. 'Don't do something to me', he told me,” one of the victims' relatives told ATV Noticias.
Carlos Aliaga Vasquez (39) ended up injured after being hit by a bullet in one of the legs.
Criminology agents from the National Police and Legal Medicine personnel from the Public Prosecutor's Office arrived at the scene, who ordered the removal of the bodies and also ordered the initiation of the investigations. Police found 19 bullet casings at the crime scene and it is believed that the cell phone would correspond to a reckoning.
Neighbors in the area were shocked, as last weekend, another person was killed by strangers in the same young town.
ANTI-CRIME TEAM
On Tuesday, the Police Division (Divipol) of Chimbote announced the operation of a unit specialized in investigations against crime and crime in this Ancashine city.
The head of Divipol Chimbote, PNP Colonel Edwar Zavaleta López, said that this special team will consist of 18 police officers and will be operational from April 1.
“The work of this special team will focus on the dismantling of criminal organizations that intend to create a climate of insecurity for citizens,” he said after a meeting to which the National Police convened the main authorities of the jurisdiction to present their plan to combat crime.
In addition to the murders by order (assassination), armed robberies and others, Colonel PNP indicated that another problem facing the police in this city is clandestine prostitution.
He also pointed out that according to information handled by the National Police, criminal organizations dedicated to sexual exploitation and trafficking in persons would be behind the exercise of prostitution that occurs in central streets of the city of Chimbote.
