In the preview of the National Day of Memory for Truth and Justice, Cristina Kirchner visited Hebe de Bonafini and other members of Mothers of Plaza de Mayo at the Association headquarters.

“On the eve of a new March 24, Vice President @CFKArgentina met with Hebe de Bonafini, Rosa de Camarotti, Visitation of Loyola and Carmen Arias. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Association,” they said on the official Twitter account of Madres de Plaza de Mayo, along with the photo that portrayed the moment.

“The meeting was very fruitful, they talked a lot and the vice-president with the affection that characterizes her greeted all the staff of the Casa de la Mothers. When they said goodbye, Hebe and Cristina were very excited,” they added.

The visit took place this Tuesday, two days before a new March 24, when the victims of the last military dictatorship, which just overthrew the democratic government of María Estela Martínez de Perón that day in 1976, are commemorated.

For this Thursday and 46 years after the coup, the Association called for a march at 15.30 from the Casa de las Mothers in Plaza de Mayo. On this occasion, they added the slogan “With the F.M.I. in the country, more children will die of hunger.” “On this special date, because we must not forget, from the Mothers Association of Plaza de Mayo we invite you to continue to hold high the flag of the 30,000 revolutionary compañerxs who gave their lives for the Fatherland, so we say once again NO TO THE PAYMENT OF DEBT”, they announced on their social networks.
