“Turnip” for “Chaparo”: CJNGN internal dispute over the massacre of San Jose de Gracia

The Jalisco Nueva Generacion Cartel (CJNG) agrees to attack the person responsible for killing at least 11 people after a funeral in San Jose de Gracia with the federal government and prosecutors in Michoacán, where a group of internal disputes between criminal operators has been identified.

According to records published by the criminal group itself, everything changed when, on February 27, a murderer led by Abel Alcantar Vallejo under the pseudonym El Viejon Sierra 8 and/or Toro entered San Jose de Gracio. To take revenge on El Pelon Alejandro Garcia, he turned to senior CJNG officials to ask for permission to take care of his mother.

Up to 12 funeral attendees died that day, and no bodies were found. Among them were people who were not involved in criminal activities and fellow members of the faction who left their homes to continue illegal business in Zapopan and Colima.

El Chaparo was not an original member of the army of Menzo Nemessio Ossegur Cervantes, but supported the criminal society as a regional manager. But now the target identified as a turnip was tasked with destroying the Sierra Bud cells in a battle joined by other leaders.

On the night of March 10, when a member of the CJNG arrived at the La Garita delegation in Tamazula de Gordiano, there were signs of a rupture, during which two municipalities were killed and two paramedics who were on the road were injured. It leads to Morelia.

The next day, Jalisco Governor Enrique Alfaro admitted that criminal acts such as the burning of trucks occurred near the municipality. In response to the discovery of the Armed Command, the Ninth Infantry Battalion, the State Police, the National Guard and even a helicopter arrived. Until now, they remain in the municipality without attacking.

However, on March 14, the Michoakan Prosecutor's Office paid compensation of up to 600,000 pesos to those who provided data that led to alleged perpetrators in neighboring villages.

They assumed that the enemies of the region would carry out operations against the enemies of Sinaloa.
