The Last King: El Hijo Del Pueblo premiered despite all odds, criticism or possible demand. A few hours after the premiere of its first episode entitled “The Reencounter of Dalia Vicente”, the audience booed the interpretation of most of its protagonists on social networks, with Emilio Marcos being the main one affected by what was described as the “worst” performance by Alejandor Fernández.

The unauthorized bioseries of Vicente Fernández continues to achieve its mission and that is that during the broadcast of its controversial premiere it positioned itself as the most talked about on Twitter with the hashtag #ElUltimoRey as the number one trend nationwide as well as the names of some of its actors among the following places, leaving the debate of not seeing the project in the background because “bad publicity” benefited more than it could harm.

The youth version of Alejandro Fernández that producer Juan Osorio gave to his son seems not to have been liked by the public, and it is that even his most loyal fans - who were born into the well-known couple Aristemo - mentioned that the dialogues and scenes granted to him had affected his work in the most of his appearances, his performance being described as “stiff”, “exaggerated” and even questioned as to why he was assigned to play El Potrillo if they physically “do not look alike”.

“Questionable everything that could be in this series because of what Televisa is doing, but what Juan Osorio did with the role of Ale in the hands of his son was a low blow”, “We can talk about how bad was our beautiful Emi Marcos as Alejandro Fernández”, “Emilio has enormous potential and since the last projects really that I don't like anything he participates in”, “Emilio Marcos belongs to the new generation of famous children, and although he is successful, this role of Ale Fernéndez was definitely not for him”, “We will have to see the following chapters, but at least in this one I didn't like his acting at all and I love him”, wrote users of Twitter.

One of the main annoyances by fans of the Fernandez dynasty, including those of the performer of hits such as Me Dedicé A Perderte, Sé que Te Duele or Me It was so good that they considered the producer's son's involvement with Niurka Marcos as an act of blatant nepotism that his performance in the project failed to justify.

For his part, Emilio Marcos has been very happy with the project that Televisa Univision assigned to his father and although he hasn't written anything about the wave of criticism that his work has received, in recent days he left a series of photographs and messages where he could be observed happy with the bioseries and even described it as a work of “pure quality”.

“Hey race, they raffle it. I'm really excited by everything that's coming. I hope they like what is being done, pure quality #ElUltimoRey,” he wrote on his Twitter account where he has more than 265 thousand followers. Although on his Instagram account he did share the congratulations that colleagues by profession or very close fans sent him from their profiles.

Emilio Marcos was not the only one affected by the project, nor did Pablo Montero meet the expectations that viewers expressed on his social networks, since he assured that the project was carried out very quickly, so partly the dialogues, sequences and plot do not help the actors to interpret adequately.
