WFC 2017 play-offs begin

The 11th Women's World Floorball Championships kicked off on Friday and after four days the group matches have been played. The group standings are as follows:

GROUP A GROUP B GROUP C GROUP D

1. Finland 1. Sweden 1. Slovakia 1. Denmark

2. Czech Republic 2. Switzerland 2. Estonia 2. USA

3. Norway 3. Poland 3. Singapore 3. Japan

4. Latvia 4. Germany 4. Australia 4. Thailand

Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic and Switzerland qualify straight to the quarterfinals and the rest of Group A and B as well as the top two of Group C and D will begin their fight in the play-offs. Singapore, Japan, Australia and Thailand will start their play-offs for places 13-16.
