USRowing Retains Korn Ferry to Assist in CEO Search

The USRowing Board of Directors announced today that it has retained the executive search firm, Korn Ferry.

The USRowing Board of Directors announced today that it has retained the executive search firm, Korn Ferry, to assist in the search for the organization’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

USRowing initiated its search for its next CEO last month. Korn Ferry will be working alongside the USRowing CEO Search Committee in their efforts to identify, review and select those candidates best suited to advance to the interview stage of the hiring process. All members of the USRowing Board of Directors will be involved in the final selection of the next CEO.

"Our goal is to find the strongest candidate to lead USRowing and to thus fulfill our mission to our individual members, our organizational members, and our national team athletes," said USRowing Board Chair Marcia Hooper. "We are excited to be working with Korn Ferry’s industry-leading Global Sports Practice in our search for USRowing’s CEO to ensure all candidates are given a fair opportunity in this process."

Korn Ferry’s Global Sports Practice has represented top Olympic organizations and has completed CEO searches for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), USA Cycling, USA Rugby, and US Ski & Snowboard Association (USSA), among many others.
