(ATR) Around the Rings takes a look back at one of the greats as Muhammad Ali was laid to rest on Friday, June 10.

Oft-considered a truly inspiring man and athlete both inside and outside the ring, the Olympic boxing legend died at the age of 74 on June 3.

His boxing achievements include being crowned World Heavyweight Champion three-times and winning a gold medal at the 1960 Rome Olympics.

Outside the ring, Ali fought for the rights of people and sought to end discrimination of all forms. He used his position as a world-famous athlete to help inspire real change throughout the world.

These photos highlight some of Ali's major moments in history and pay tribute to one of sport's greatest and most beloved figures.
