(ATR) Director of Social Media for the New York Mets Will Carafello has been named one of the confirmed speakers for the International Sports Chamber of Commerce seminar on June 7 in New York.

Carafello has years of experience in digital technology/social media and has held leading roles not only for the Mets but other sports organizations such as the Harlem Globetrotters, New Jersey Devils and more.

The ISCC will host multiple business seminars throughout 2017 spanning across four cities.

Locations for the seminars include not only New York but Washington, London and Lausanne as well.

Each seminar is designed to cover topics regarding business interaction and engagements, sports governing bodies and international brands.

The conference will also feature exclusive presentations as well as interactive panel discussions and networking opportunities.

The London chapter will host the next seminar entitled "Sports Digital - Best Practice" on May 4.

Soccerex Heads to Manchester

The 2017 edition of the Soccerex Global Convention will take place beginning Sept. 4 in Manchester, England.

The three day convention, with nearly 3000 delegates from over 80 countries expected to attend, will be opened by Soccerex chairman Tony Martin.

The conference willbe divided into three categories: studio, academy and lab, each tackling subjects ranging from tournament expansion, stadium design, sponsorship, international investments, the latest in wearable tech, to the rise of influencer marketing.

Industry leaders including the UEFA and the Royal Belgian Football Association will also discuss the latest in issues and innovations.

Closing the conference, Head of FIFA "Fnatics" Colin Johnson will examine the "The relationship between football and esports" and how the two can best collaborate in the future.

Soccerex 2017 will conclude on Sept. 6.

19 Sponsors On Board for Host City 2017

The 2017 Host City conference already has 19 official sponsors on board as the event is set to begin just months away.

Aggreko, Red Bull Air Race and Marsh are among the 19 sponsors.

Host City will take place at Glasgow's Technology and Innovation Center in Scotland. Longtime partner EventScotland is the support organizer for the event.

The conference intends to focus on how cities and organizers can work together to bid and host sustainable events. Events can range from sports championships, business expos and more.

"Host City is renowned for the highest level of speakers, content and networking. And as the event continues to grow, we ensure that it delivers the best for our large and increasingly diverse community," event director Ben Avison said in a statement.

Host City 2017 will take place from Nov. 28-29.

World Stadium Congress Registration Extended

Delegates still have the opportunity to register for the last few seats at this year's World Stadium Congress in Doha, Qatar.

Tickets are available with prices ranging from $900- $3000. Click here to register.

The three-day Congress will feature workshops and panels on venue security, innovations in stadium technology and more.

The 2017 edition of the event, which begins May 22, will be the largest gathering of stakeholders involved in the stadium and arena industry.

An awards ceremony will be held during the first day of the congress.Architect of the year, stadium design of the year and 38 more awards will be recognized at the event.

The "Stadium Safety and Security" workshop will be held the entire day on May 24, concluding the congress.

Project Director of Euro 2020 Dimitri Huygen and Director of Operations for the European Safety and Safety Management Association Jan Stryckers will be speaking at the security workshop.
